TODAY
today is a masquerade
she wears 8 baggy costumes
face pancaked; with 8 colors
in acrobatic dance:
arms
flailing
legs
swinging,
like reeds sway by winds
tell the masquerade;
the festival is what finishes
within a chimpanzee's twinkle
today is a masquerade
& she will dance, dance,
& dance
& slip off
& slip away
to hug the tree of oblivion
just the way yesterday did
